Summer 2010

This summer I spent two months in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I rented a casita in town, loaded my van with supplies, paints, brushes, multiple large Gessobord surfaces, a large studio easel, table, chair, and some painting clothes.
Then drove from Virginia to Santa Fe in two and a half days, stopping in Nashville to stay with my friend Tina Alston. It was nothing less than fabulous! I got a ton of work done. I loved being able to paint at 2AM if felt like it. One day I spent 16 hours straight at the easel. The next day I got in the van and drove to O'Keeffe's White Place. A new series has begun.
